IOL Counselor

When you schedule cataract surgery with Utah Eye Centers, we want you to feel confident and comfortable with the procedure, as well as educated about the technology available to you for your surgery. As part of your surgery preparation, you will meet with our IOL (Intraocular Lens) Counselor, who will assist you in creating a personalized plan for your surgery. During your appointment with our IOL counselor, advanced testing will be performed you will learn about what happens during surgery as well as become familiar with the options for creating the visual outcome you desire. Our IOL Counselor will perform advanced testing to measure your eye for the new lens that will be implanted during your procedure. Following your appointment, our IOL Counselor is available as a great point of contact for any questions or concerns regarding your surgery.
